FlickPicker — movie and TV tracking for iPhone and iPad
FlickPicker keeps one library of the films and TV shows you have
watched, are watching and want to watch — with episode-by-episode progress for
shows — and uses that history to work out what you should watch next from the
streaming services you actually subscribe to. Version 2.5, released 20 July 2026.
Free to use, with Premium at $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year.
It imports your existing history from TV Time GDPR exports
(including per-episode progress), Letterboxd, IMDb,
Trakt, CSV files and pasted watchlists, showing you matched titles
first so you can exclude anything wrong before it enters your library.
What makes it different
- Pick Together — a group voting room. Everyone joins with a
code, votes on a shortlist tailored to the group, and the room reveals the match.
No other tracker does this.
- AI recommendations grounded in your own taste — your
ratings, genres, actors, pacing and runtime preferences, plus live streaming
availability for your region, rather than generic popularity.
- AI Taste Match — a verdict on whether one specific title
suits you, explained by reference to titles you personally rated.
- Film Buff — progress through canon lists such as the IMDb
Top 250, award winners and individual filmographies.
- Streaming reality — availability by region and by the
services you pay for, with alerts before a saved title leaves them.
Limitations, stated plainly
FlickPicker is iPhone, iPad and Apple silicon Mac only. There is no
Android app and no full web tracking app. There is no self-service data export yet.
It is a newer app, so Apple has not yet collected enough ratings to display an
average.
